About Us

Rick is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the State of California. After receiving a Bachelor’s in Economics with a minor in Accounting from UCLA, he began work in the public accounting field. Knowing that he wanted to establish his own practice someday, he opted for the hands-on client experience at various mid-size accounting firms in the Los Angeles area. Upon moving to the Bay Area with his wife in 2016, he and Eric decided to open Server & Associates as a full-time family operation. Rick carries a vast technical knowledge of both individual and business taxation and continues to apply the strategies he has developed over the years to the benefit of his clients. He is also an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

Eric spent the first 20+ years of his career in the entertainment business before being approached with a job offer at a Culver City accounting firm, hoping to apply the many years of industry experience he had accumulated. Over the last 30+ years, he has seen almost every situation imaginable and applies this knowledge on a daily basis to the clientele with whom he has developed close relationships. While a large majority of his clients stem from the entertainment industry, his book of business has branched out significantly to the fields of law, education, finance, real estate and many more.
